then the whites of may appear ......old fashioned white peonies and a slew of wild daisies.....
then we have june, a burst of magenta daylillies and monarda.....
and now into late july.....
it is amazing how the monardas and karl foerster grasses have put on such a show for most of the summer. and now the yellow rudbeckias take over. can't say i have a favorite time in my gardens, i love each moment for what it is. this garden is the one everyone who visits sees first....it lines our driveway. i hope it feels as welcoming to guests as it does to me each time i return home from our travels.
Hey girl, I have missed you! Glad you are back, but also glad that you have had some good times traveling. I love the beautiful flowers that the Lord has made for us to enjoy! Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your gardens! Our new yard is a blank slate. Just grass at this point.
But just this week I've been telling the husband that I want to get some daylilies planted. The beautiful orange ones we had at the old house AND those gorgeous magenta ones just like yours.
Glad to hear you've had a good summer.
Hi DJ! Welcome back to blogland. Sounds like you've been having a busy summer. Your gardens are gorgeous! Can't wait to see more.
