mud season's here.

well the pleasures of living on an unmaintained, for the most part, gravel road in the country can be celebrated as of this past week.

thank goodness for 4 wheel's the only way in and out of our road and will be until things dry out.

come some dry weather ....some major changes will have to be made. deferred maintenance prior to our moving to sweetwater bend will have to addressed. can you tell i am not too happy? do you think i will ever get all this mud off? there is simply no reason to run it through a car wash.....until june.

enter sweetwater bend at your own risk.....road under deconstruction....

meanwhile, crocus popping....woohoo! thank you dear lord!

  1. Ahhh...Spring...and MUD! One of the things I DON'T miss about living in the country. There are so many really great things about country life though the mud can be overlooked I hope. Calling for snow here this weekend...I think I'd rather have some mud LOL!

Hope all is well with you.

  2. Hi there, Spring IS coming ---but it's coming slowly here on the Cumberland Plateau. Our Crocuses look like yours --but just won't open yet (since it has been so cold and dreary this past week).

Luckily though, we don't have the mud that you have... Glad you do have a 4-wheel drive...

    Have a great day.

  3. Nice to see your crocus's popping up! And your muddy cars remind me of my hubby's muddy truck - lol! Hope you're enjoying good weather today!

  4. Oh man that's mud season alright! Hopefully it won't last for to long but after all it is only March.

Can't wait till my crocus bloom too!

living the log home life...........
thanks for visiting.
