romantic feather valentine's wreath

simple and elegant valentine's feather wreath. so very easy to make.

here's the only things you need:

1.pale pink feather boa
2.pale pink gingham or pale pink wire ribbon
3.straight pins

4.straw wreath

*just wanted to update as i got a couple emails on the pink boa.....picked it up at hobby lobby for 3.50 (50% off).....quite the bargain. everything else i already had at home.

and so simple directions(i hate to really even write them out):

1.wrap straw wreath in ribbon, using straight pins to keep in place as you circle around the wreath.

2.wrap ribboned wreath with feather boa and pin into place as you circle wreath.

3.attach valentine ornament or leave simply as feathered wreath.

.........old fashioned romance in a wreath.

  2. Very very pretty! You got the gift!!
DJ I am going to Artichoke Annie's today! Searching for a work table kind of thing for the center of the kitchen. One of their commercials got me going. No shortage of places to find "stuff" around here :)

  3. Adorable! This might make it onto my list for V-day decorations if I can find the items for a reasonable price. I love it. Soft and romantic!
I could have sworn I started following your blog last week but somehow I didn't. Going to add you now.

  5. Hi Dj. This wreath is so unique and perfectly valentine-y. I bet you just want to keep running your hands through it. I also love what you did with the side board and plate rack. I have an old sidebar like that, but no plate rack. I am now on the look out for somenting to use. What a great idea. The black paint with the white plates against the log walls is one terrific look.

  6. Oh, DJ, I love it! It's so . . . frilly and girlie. I may have to try this project. I have a red boa right here in my craft room. Maybe I'll whip it out once I get off the computer.

Thanks for sharing such a cute project!

  10. It's always so much fun for me to travel from blog to blog on Pink Saturday. Each and every entry is different and each and every one makes me smile and feel all pink from the inside out☺

QUESTION: About how many feather boas does it take to make a 12" wreath?

Today, 'tis cold up here, near zero, so I need all the little pink rays of sunshine I can gather 'round and your blog certainly has helped to warm my pinkie ♥.

Thanks so much for sharing this week. Your blog is wonderful with so, so much to see and to read!☺
